“Tomorrow becomes possible": it's no longer time for observations, it's time for solutions!

The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, in partnership with Le Monde newspaper, is organizing the 1st edition of NEO TERRA Festival: 3 days of debates, demonstrations, exhibitions and shows at the Espace Darwin in Bordeaux.

The aim is to introduce all audiences to the issues of future transitions and the solutions that exist to meet the challenges of climate change.

Agrisud International will be taking part in the Solutions Village on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 11:00 to 11:15 a.m.

“Neo Terra on the international stage: sharing agroecology"

Agrisud, a Neo-Aquitaine stakeholder in international solidarity, and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region are involved in agroecological transition projects, carried out within the framework of decentralized cooperation with other regions of the world, especially in Senegal, Madagascar and Vietnam. These projects have supported almost 12,000 family farms to move towards sustainable agriculture that respects the environment and the well-being of local populations.

Simon Baliteau, Deputy Director of Operations at Agrisud International, will present how the actions carried out in the field meet the 3 ambitions of the Neo Terra roadmap:

  • Rebuilding natural resources for the future
  • Accelerating agro-ecological and food transitions
  • Anchoring solidarity at the heart of transitions
