International solidarity in the Gironde Department, France

On February 24th, three students from the MFR of Vayres (an agricultural school) organised a charity concert to support Agrisud's actions in the field. The funds collected will contribute to the actions carried out in Laos. 

The check remittance took place on May 3rd at the MFR, in the presence of the three students who initiated the concert: Julien, Paul and Raphaël. The director of the MFR of Vayres, Mr. Schinazi, as well as 2 teachers were also present to hand over the check to the administrative and financial director of Agrisud, Didier Gensous.

The project chosen by the students focuses on agroforestry and agroecology in a mountainous areas, in Laos. It concerns 500 farms and aims to develop sustainable family farming.

These funds for Agrisud were raised at the Agri'Funk concert in early 2022, which was attended by around 50 people.
