Agrisud renews its participation in the ALIMENTERRE Festival

Agrisud is participating in the ALIMENTERRE Festival for the 2nd year in a row, organizing events in 6 countries. The programmed events aim to raise awareness among a large audience, especially young people, on local and global agricultural and food issues.

The ALIMENTERRE Festival led by the French Committee for International Solidarity (CFSI) and of which Agrisud is a member, takes place each year from October 15th to November 30th. Thousands of events are organized in France and around the world to exchange views and raise awareness among citizens about sustainable and inclusive food.

For the 2021 edition, Agrisud is organize 6 events whose themes are related to food and environmental issues:
•    4 screenings-debates in vocational schools and universities in Senegal, Ivory Coast, Morocco and Madagascar.
•    2 events: a cooking show in Cambodia and an agricultural fair in Vietnam with farms visit and a photo exhibition.

Students, professionals and consumers will discuss the solutions promoted by Agrisud for better farming and better food: family farming based on agro-ecology, responsible value chains and multi-stakeholder mobilization in the territories.
